"I usually don’t write reviews but I felt compelled to. I went to see Dr. Bernard for a breathing concern (my previous doctor retired unfortunately). Dr. Bernard is very sweet and has a kind demeanor. The very first thing I told her was I really wanting to pursue a career in law enforcement and I was very sincere and passionate about it. She even mentioned some of her patients were in law enforcement. Anyway she told me my breathing concern was anxiety. She confirmed this by checking my breathing with her stethoscope and even did a ECG (not sure why because that’s for your heart). I asked her what I could do about the breathing concern (I was stressed out but felt this breathing thing on and off for a long while. Like something was blocking air and I couldn’t get enough air in my lungs). She said I didn’t need it and I asked if it would make the breathing thing go away and she said yes and ended up prescribing something for anxiety. My concern was I didn’t want anything strong but I was open to her suggestion. I picked it up and when I get home I notice there were 2 meds one said “severe anxiety.” I was actually upset that she gave me something so strong when I asked her not to. I ended up not taking it. Later that year I’m in the hiring process of becoming a law enforcement officer and I have to have my doctor fill out paperwork because she gave me those meds. I find out after she filled out the paperwork that she gave me antidepressants, said I needed the meds even though I had no issues functioning and diagnosed me with a depressive disorder on top of that. I was so upset and eventually ended up switching to a new older doctor. The worst part is as of recent I went to an allergist because I still kept feeling the breathing concern I originally went to Dr. Bernard for and I found out after doing a breathing test I do have a breathing issue with my lungs! After finding this out I was highly upset, because not only did I waste the last 2 years of my life pursuing a career I’d never get into but Dr. Bernard misdiagnosed me and gave me meds I didn’t need and I ended up not getting hired and will never be able to have a career as a law enforcement officer. Some of my co-workers go to this doctor too and I’ve heard some concerns about Dr. Nancy as well. I just wanted to share my story and hopefully it will help others. Be very careful who you trust to be your primary doctor, and what you decide to share with them"

"Dr. Nancy Pyran Bernard in my opinion is not a very competent physician at least with my diagnosis. I've seen her over a year and on the 1st/ 2nd visit she appeared to be interested with treating my conditions afterwards it was like pulling teeth with her. I always had to initiate and make suggestions regarding my care. There were multiple times when my labs were abnormal and she did Not address any of my concerns, thankfully I have other specialists that caught these issues and prescribed medications. She did not change or adjust any of the medications that were not working for me throughout the year. My health declined while under the care or lack there of with Dr. Pyram- Bernard. In addition to a constant turn over with her staff a new person every month, I had to always introduce & explain myself on calls/ office visits no one knew who I was, absolutely no consistency. If you're having symptoms or discomfort, I suggest going to an Urgent Care this office doesn't have a quick response time, you'll be waiting for days/ weeks. Neither the doctor nor her staff was compassionate or showed any concern for patients health. This office doesn't support their patients you have to be able to advocate for Yourself!!"

"This has been one of the most disappointing experiences I've ever had with a healthcare provider. The receptionists at the front desk are consistently rude, often putting callers on hold indefinitely without returning to the line. The office manager's incompetence exacerbates the situation. Additionally, Nancy Bernard Pyram's credibility is questionable, as I believe she is dishonest and involved in deceptive practices. I began using Wegovy in late January, and when I needed a refill, I was informed that I required a prior authorization, despite having recently been prescribed the medication. This requirement seemed unreasonable, especially considering it hadn't been three months since I started the treatment. Furthermore, the authorization process was mishandled, with incorrect information being submitted – specifically, my weight in January was inaccurately recorded as the same in March. This error appears deliberate, possibly to push their own program offering similar medications at out-of-pocket expenses. It's unfortunate because there's a new doctor at the practice whom I genuinely like, but dealing with these administrative issues is exhausting. I also have proof of my weight cause I was getting iron transfusions every week and it literally documents my weight loss week by week. My past experiences with this healthcare provider have been disappointing as well. Despite having an annual check-up with Nancy Bernard, I was not informed of being prediabetic, which led me to expect a different outcome this time around. Overall, I advise others to avoid this provider to spare themselves unnecessary stress and disappointment. It's evident they prioritize profit over their patients' well-being and fail to fulfill their promises."
