"It was truly not what I expected. Years ago I had an allergic reactions at work and went there and my experience was very nasty. I was setting in a wheelchair with an IV in the middle of the waiting room. This time it was very pleasant. I was offered a blanket because I was cold and my daughter was given water. The nurse and Dr were very concerned and pleasant. They didn't make me wait all night. I am glad I choose them because of how well I was treated."

I particularly in this last visit was impressed by my nurse and Dr. Lens. Dr. Lens is very positive, smiles, does not dismiss my concerns and erred on side of treating the worst case scenario in the differential diagnosis. "After finally getting the nerve up to see what’s been going in with me. And, get a second opinion. I drove nearly two hours and was treated terribly by ER doctor. I was going to leave without being seen. After talking with nurse I decided to stay. What a mess that ended up being. No bedside manner at all. Seems as if it was one nurse taking care of every patient in ER. My call light was on for over 14 minutes before finally being answered. I had to use the bathroom and they wanted a sample. So I let them know I needed to be unhooked from my machines. Took over 20 minutes before she came in. Besides the fact I have been holding it for almost an hour by this time. Needless to say they got their urine. Doc came in shortly after said he found nothing wrong. Was discharged with dehydration. He didn’t even take the time to listen to the numerous symptoms that led me there to begin with. Nor look at the paper I brought with me with everything written down. After this experience at this hospital where I thought I was finally going to get answers and make a sound decision on what I should do with my second opinion. I am afraid to go elsewhere. So now I’m going to just deal with things as I have without truly knowing what’s going on."
