"When I have a really positive experience, I like to give accolades when/where due. When I have a horrific experience, I think it's important to warn others. Otherwise, I try to abide by the rule that if I don't have something nice to say, I won't say anything. Because I was specifically asked, twice, to leave a review, I am. The location of this place is convenient for me. Dealing with Danni was a very pleasant experience. She is friendly, helpful, and knowledgable. Those are the positives. Unfortunately, I experienced some negatives when I recently moved into a storage unit, here. The unit I was shown the day prior was not the one provided to me. Danni told me that unit assignments are done through the computer system and the unit I had seen the day prior was full-price, and not the online price I was quoted. The unit provided to me was in far worse shape than the one I had seen the day prior. It was not cleaned prior to me moving in. Fortunately, I asked that Danni, the assistant manager, or Kirby, the manager, go with me when I moved in. Kirby did and blew out the leaves and debris that were in the unit. There is a hole in the drywall, in one lower corner, and the seam-sealing tape is falling down in many locations (see photos). Additionally, the unit is not a 10' x 15' unit. The interior dimensions are 9' 9" x 14' 3". The unit is nearly 11 square feet smaller than advertised and for which I pay. I feel as though a bait and switch was used on me. Because I had a U-Haul truck full of supplies, I didn't really have any option and moved into the unit. Again, the location is very convenient for me. It's the actual unit that is disappointing. UPDATE (11/11/23): On November 7th, I called and emailed the corporate office, per their reply to my review and have not yet received a reply from them. On November 8th, I heard from Danni, the wonderful assistant manager at this specific location, who was very disheartened by my review. She has done everything in her power to salvage our relationship, and continues to offer the best possible customer service. Sadly, her hands continue to be tied by the corporate office. She is terrific, and were she able to run the store as she saw fit, it'd be a fantastic location. I hope the corporate office steps up its game."
