About the Business

Welcome to St. Giles' Episcopal Church, a vibrant community of faith located at 8271 52nd Street North, Pinellas Park, Florida. As part of the Jesus Movement in Pinellas Park, we are dedicated to following the teachings of Jesus Christ, whose life, death, and resurrection have transformed the world. Our mission is to embody faith through love, welcoming everyone to join us on this spiritual journey.

At St. Giles’, we celebrate the Holy Eucharist every Sunday morning at 10 a.m., inviting all to partake in the grace and fellowship of our worship. Rooted in the traditions of the Anglican Communion, we are proud members of the Episcopal Diocese of Southwest Florida. We cherish our heritage as descendants of the Church of England and the Scottish Episcopal Church, and we contribute to the third-largest group of Christians globally.

In alignment with our commitment to inclusivity, we uphold the belief that leadership in our church is a divine gift, available to all people. We have a legacy of inclusion, with women and men serving as bishops, priests, and deacons. Laypeople and clergy collaborate as leaders, ensuring that every voice is heard and valued.

St. Giles' Episcopal Church is also an active member of the Florida Council of Churches, working in solidarity with other denominations to address pressing social issues such as refugee and immigration matters, the abolition of the death penalty, and social, racial, and economic justice.

Our faith community believes in a loving, liberating, and life-giving God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We strive to follow in the footsteps of Jesus, letting His Spirit guide our lives and actions, aiming to transform the world into God’s dream.

We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Provider, welcoming everyone to experience our unique worship services and community outreach. With God's help, we journey together, supporting one another through life's challenges.

Come and be a part of our family at St. Giles' Episcopal Church, where faith, love, and community unite to create a place of worship for all.

"This was our family church when we lived in Pinellas Park, 1965 - 1973. Loved it there! Ralph and Norma Harris (Michele & Mike)"

"Really upsetting to know the food that’s donated is not being distributed correctly to the ones in the community who are in need. Went to the pantry for a family of 3 all I received was rice, walnuts, dry beans and apple juice not one pack of meat though I seen yellow shopping carts full of meat packs of Chicken, roast etcc.I think the inside volunteers are keeping those items for themselves and very thinly distributing it out to make it seem like they’re doing the right thing. Really sad and pathetic local places should not donate if they are going to do things in this manner"

"This church really goes out of their way to help the community they offer a food pantry every week on Thursdays from 9:30 am to 12. You can come there once a week not once every 30 days being someone who is taking care of both of my retired parents and now my disabled uncle who is getting no income having a place like this to go to for help is huge especially not being made to feel like you are scum of the Earth because you have to go to a food pantry for help. If you're also looking for someplace to go I suggest you try Feeding Pinellas Pantry. They are open three days a week for the food and you can go once they allow you to shop for the items that you will use and like. They also offer a soup kitchen Monday through Friday from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. where they serve hot meals to the homeless and anyone in need. And located not far from this pantry. They are located inside Northwest Church on 54th Street just east of 66th st. About 10 minutes from this food pantry and has a great group of people who will help with not only food items but sometimes have personal hygiene items laundry soap and so forth. They also regularly have people to assist with applying for food stamps and other assistance as well as vaccinations and many other free services offered to help the community."
