At the heart of our mission is the Calvary Church Food Pantry, a vital resource for over 200 families in our community each week. In a world where 1 in 4 children and 1 in 6 adults lack consistent access to food, we strive to provide not only nutritious meals but also hope and spiritual support.
Our Mission
Guided by James 1:27, Calvary Church is committed to caring for orphans and supporting families who answer the call to adopt. We offer a range of services, from prayer and meals to grants and a supportive community for adoptive families. If you are an adoptive family in need of assistance, please fill out [THIS form](#).
Get Involved
Our food pantry operates with the help of dedicated volunteers who receive and process donations on Wednesdays from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and distribute food to clients on Thursdays and Fridays from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. We also have opportunities for volunteers to serve as Guardian ad Litem, providing consistent advocacy for children in the welfare system.
Supporting Foster Families
Every day in the Tampa Bay area, children are removed from their homes due to neglect, abuse, or abandonment. Calvary is committed to supporting foster families by providing meals, prayer support, and practical help. We believe the Church is the solution to the severe shortage of foster homes in our community.
Calvary Cares
Throughout the year, Calvary Cares offers numerous serving opportunities like yard work, handyman tasks, neighborhood clean-ups, and school projects. We invite you to join us in these efforts to meet the unseen needs in our own neighborhoods.
Our Faith

"I was feeling overwhelmed, cut my hours at work, had to take my pet to vet, nothing going right, stopped in for food and everyone was so kind and loving, I have not gone to church and they introduced me to one of the pastors, he welcomed me to his church and told me about group meeting they have for all sorts of life issues, I believe the lord wanted me to go to the Calvary pantry , they even gave me a large print bible , and they treated me as family. The food pantry is extremely nice with very fresh vegetables, fruit along with canned jarred goods, I thank the lord for showing me the way for help, as I left , stopped at a store, finished shopping walked out there was a twenty dollar bill just waiting to be picked up with not one person around to claim it . I felt the lord with me ❤️"
