Ifnz you can't understand him and ask him to repeat he gets impatient, the 1st time he even kind of yelled at me!!! I don't believe he is here for English speaking individuals!!! And this is all you have in Okaloosa County Florida unless you travel hours away!!! I really don't know how to take him as my physician (brain) NOPE and not going to find out!!!"

"I will recommend Dr Phan neurologist to any patient who have burning on feet and leg pain. He is very thorough with the procedure of conducting study . He is very knowledgeable and thinking what is best for his patient . He does not talk a lot but he is answering any questions about the findings ."

"Waited 4 months for an appointment. When I called to set up the appointment I told them that ALL I needed was an Ocrevus infusion for my Multiple Sclerosis. I was worried about having a relapse because I just moved here and I was late for my infusion by a couple of months.This is a drug that only neurologists can prescribe and I’m fairly confident that everyone in the world EXCEPT for Dr. Shijun has seen a commercial for this treatment on TV. My hopes were cut down when Dr. Shijun Said he has never heard of this medication nor did he know where to begin to try and get it for me…… The only upside to my appointment was that he didn’t charge me for the huge amount of wasted time. So sad and frustrated how is this even possible???????"

"Ignore any negative comments. The VA sent me to him for injuries related to active duty injuries. This specialist has a job to do. He is professional and to the point. He is not a conversationalist, he is not your friend, he is your neurologist. I did not go see him to make a friendship, I went to find out what my medical issue is. He's VERY thorough, if you have a question, ask it. He will answer, no one is perfect. The receptionist is very thorough, very attentive to follow ups. If she didn't think you understand, she will make sure you did. I strongly encourage anyone looking for a neurologist, give him a shot. Remember, your going for a medical diagnostic or treatment, not to make a friendship."

"Dr Pan-BEWARE MIGRAINE PATIENT. I’ve been Past 45yrs MUST SEE HIM EVERY REFILL even though UNITED HEALTH CARE TOLD HIM HOW TO ORDER TO MAXIMIZE INSURANCE BENEFITS, HE REFUSES, ONLY MINIMUM. CASH OR CHECKS ONLY. My mind- very suspicious NOT CUSTOMARY. He’s hard to understand, visibly becomes ANGRY with his tone of voice, facial expression, and head movements towards me….. if you ask him to repeat something more than once. I’ve never spent more than five minutes in his office, a year or so in 1.5yrs, convenience kept me going & I needed Migraine Imitrex, or Maxalt. HE’S RUSHED ALWAYS to get me out of there. I rarely seen other patients waiting to see him. He’s even ordered test, lab work and when I returned to get lab work results, I had to ask him about results. he’s asked me “what test results?!” Who ordered.. of course I said you did. His office atmosphere is not welcoming at all, service is curt, cold, nothing is personal! I writing this review because he refuses to listen to that my insurance companies recommendations or the pharmacies recommendations regarding how to order my migraine medication. He refuses to refill maxalt which is a migraine Med. He ordered 3mth supply and Pan told me 30 tablets was a three month supply. Never having ANY ISSUES WITH MIGRAINE MEDS I called the pharmacist, and was told it was a one month supply. I shared this with him, but he did not care, he rudely told me he would not order any more, regardless of what the pharmacist said, and ignored United healthcare recommendations of what he could do, DR PAN REFUSES to honor GUIDANCE to utilize my healthcare benefits!!! I’m 60yrs old and migraines. since 11th grade and have NEVER RUN OUT OF MIGRAINE MEDS because Dr refuses any refills…. you have to pay for an office visit fee. He allows 10 maxalt per month. If you have migraines, you’ll understand I was concerned and it’s scary to be out of migraine medicine to stop it! I contacted UNITED HEALTHCARE, regarding my benefit coverage through Okaloosa County School District insurance. I have benefits for Migraine medication 20 tabs per month of MAXALT. United Healthcare approves 20 tablets per month but must be ordered 10 tabs every 15 days. UNHealthcare called him and told him how to order it - which was 10 tablets every 15 days WITH REFILLS. He REFUSES TO HONOR UNITED HEALTHCARES RECOMMENDATIONS TO BETTER SERVE ME, PAN DISREGARDED CALL FROM UNHC AND Walgreens request on HOW TO CORRECTLY WRITE RX order to better serve me because I have the benefits for migraine tabs 20 per month. After UHC and Walgreens contacted Dr. Pan about how to order which is in the best interest of me- the patient. He denied their recommendations to better utilize my UHC benefits, which covers my migraine medication refill of 10 tabs every 15 days This doctor absolutely refuses to give refills on anything that I’ve ever gotten in his office. He’s given me plenty of Gabapentin for Covid muscle spasm and I’m grateful. However, I did run OUT of the Gabapentin and had to stop at hotel because I was soooo sick from withdrawals that I couldn’t drive I had no idea that I would be incapacitated from running out and I called and called him and refused to order a few Gabapentin to get me through, I was in south Fl and and he refused to call in refill. I was very, very sick and ruined my visit with my daughter. . I’ve never in 60 years of life have I been denied migraine medicine!!!! It’s migraine medicine NOT narcotics that are controlled. Again my insurance company recommended how he should order it so I don’t run out of medication and can better serve me, his patient but DR. PAN DOESN’T CARE and as of 10/23/23 he has completely refused. Again, he’s also ordered test which he didn’t remember ordering and he gave me the wrong medicine and called and left a message on my voicemail telling me he ordered me the wrong medicine."
