"I used PODS because I had sold my house and was moving in with family in another state while I hunted for a house. PODS stored my furniture for two months while I found a new house and purchased it. I hired the same company to load and unload my PODS, recommend by them. They did an excellent job. Had I already had a new home to move to, I would have hired a regular moving company. But due to the fact PODS was simpler because of storing my furniture, I went with them."

"PODS is refusing to honor the quote that was sent to me and have over charged me. I files a "case" waiting over three weeks for a response. It was closed out without contacting for $470.00 less then should have been credited. Then when my POD was delivered it took 5 hours and having to cut down my fence to get it out of a ditch that a new driver who was delivering the POD did. I had to let the moving company that was here to unload the POD go and reschedule them come back another day. PODS said that if the POD is seated in my driveway before 7:00 pm there is nothing they can do about the cost of movers coming bake a second day. I find a "case" regarding this. The POD was not seated in my driveway until 7:35 pm. So according to PODS policy, they will be to reimburse me for the moving cost of having to come back. They closed out my "case" without contacting me and are now refusing to reimburse me for the moving cost of the second day. S not only is there a breach in contract but also a refusal to comply with their own police. I have spent hours, yes hours, on the phone regarding this and all I get is the run around and no one to talk to."

"PODS was recommended to me by my military son and his colleagues. They said it would be easier & more convenient to make a cross country move with Pods. From the drop off at my home in California to the delivery at new place in Alabama, they were right! Everything went so smoothly, from the communications to the timing and advice I received. I didn't have a single item damaged, Everything was on schedule and worked great. I contribute the lack of damage to the instructional videos on the PODS website and our own attention to packaging all of my belongings correctly! We were able to rope off & tie up inside the POD, we properly blanketed heavy furniture and most of all filled the 16 x 20 container so there was minimal shifting. I was very happy with my move. Going across country with all if your worldly possessions is stressful enough, PODS made it easier to get it done . I would use and recommend PODS again!"

By the time we totaled the cost of a rental truck, the gas, lodging, and our time, PODS was very competitive. But most of all, they did an outstanding job scheduling and meeting every date we needed. Everything arrived in the exact condition that it left here and everyone we dealt with was professional and helpful. "Moving sucks. Period. We used this service when we moved from Florida to Connecticut. We ordered their largest container which was 16 ft. This was designed to be able to fit the contents of about a 1200 sq. ft. home. Requesting a quote and for the pod to be delivered was easy and can be done on their website; the customer service hotline can be called also. The truck dropped the pod off and we had a few days to load it. We scheduled a date for pickup; from drop off to pickup, they were prompt both times. They also give us a call when they're on their way. It's pretty awesome seeing how they move the pod on and off the truck too; the truck has a lift that is specialized to pick up the pod. Once we got to Connecticut, the pod was dropped off the next day; customer service was great. Overall, it was a seamless process and made moving 1,300 miles, a little less stressful; wished we used them the first time we moved from New England to Florida!"
