"Let me start by saying I should’ve been recording the inhumane treatment that was shown towards me while at this place. The front desk ladies were polite (shockingly based on other reviews). Today I was threatened to have police called on me, if I did not leave. I didn’t commit a crime, I didn’t pose a threat, the employee stated that I cursed at her and I was asked to leave and if I didn’t leave, police would be called. Called for what? Immediately after being called from the waiting area, I was asked if I had progressive lenses. Considering that I had been there for my last exam, I felt that is information you should know. I smirked and said I’m not sure, but does it matter? I stated that because if I’m here for an exam, if I’m also here for a new prescription, what does that have to do with what’s going on now? A simple explanation would’ve helped. If she felt my attitude was a bit much, why couldn’t someone else assist? She walks to the back, goes to get this guy, that ive now learned from other reviews is Troy (the manager) and he says you need to leave. He didn’t ask my version, he stated “you can leave or police will be called”. “You don’t cuss at her”. I’m not sure if she lied saying I cursed at her or if he just said that as a reason not to service me. Either way he was very abrasive and the threat of police being called was absurd. In shock, in the moment of feeling disrespected, I did then say some not nice words because in my mind, I’ve been lied on already, I’ve been threatened already and I’ve been insulted already so what do I have to lose. I truly hate that this place was the option for eye care after Dr. Bakowski because service was so much better. Thankfully, I’ve learned to never beg a person to take your money and people that service customers like this don’t deserve continued clientele. The other poor reviews you read, BELIEVE THEM! I’m shocked this place is still open but being that they accept Medicaid and the ownership change has given them customers they ordinarily wouldn’t have. RUN don’t walk, from this place. I’m sure more horrible stories of their service and ethics will be reported. With a manager, like this guy, this is why their team is not functioning as it should. The core foundation thrives on poor service and poor business ethics. Businesses do have the right to refuse service but a smart business leader, definitely would’ve attempted to retain business and not run it away. The voice of the customer meant nothing here. It wasn’t asked for or cared about. Protect your employees but protect the voice of the customer as well. This guy may be an awesome manager but an effective leader leads by example and rectifies issues; not ignite them."

"I had an eye exam in early 2023. The doctor was wonderful. I was told my contacts would be ready to pick up in about a week. I called every week for over a month, but was told they weren’t there. After well over a month, I was told to stop calling and that I would be contacted when they were ready. I was never contacted. It is over a year later. I called today and the office staff were rude as usual. They told me I could come pick them up, but I live in a new state so that is of no use to me. They said they couldn’t give me my prescription information. Take your business literally anywhere else."

"The doctor herself is the best 1000/10 but the staff up front oh my! The lady in the second computer closest to the exam door is RUDE all three times I been. One time she refused to ring me up because “they were busy to come back” when all she had to do was run my card that takes 30 seconds . The whole front area will ignore customers to chit chat and have you standing there looking around. The lady who gives you your glasses to the right is so nice but that’s about it."
