With a robust background, he served as an Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology at the prestigious Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh for over five years, during which he contributed to over 30 peer-reviewed publications and numerous book chapters.

Dr. Mandell is a proud graduate of the University of Maryland School of Medicine and completed his internship and residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City. He further honed his expertise with a clinical and research Fellowship at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. As the former Director of the Pediatric Airway Center, he brings unparalleled experience to our practice. Currently, he is a co-editor of the leading textbook on Pediatric Otolaryngology and holds several academic positions at renowned institutions such as the University of Miami and Florida Atlantic University.

Our practice is part of the region’s only all Fellowship Trained adult and pediatric ENT specialists. Since 1995, the physicians and staff at ENT Specialists have been committed to serving South Florida with compassionate and comprehensive care. "The best office staff and Dr. Mandell is one of the kindest doctors I’ve ever experienced. Our 3 year old had tube surgery with him, the whole process was incredible. We never felt pressured to do it, but because she failed her hearing test we decided it was best. After she had them the results were so drastic. Her hearing and speech improved immediately. At her 6 month post op her hearing had improved so much, and you could even see Dr. Mandell was genuinely excited. I cannot recommend this practice more!"
