The Italian Village

"I love a great shop in a tucked away spot. I had higher hopes. The customer service was exceptional from placing the order and picking up. Prices were reasonable. Then, I got home and discovered my Italian sub had only TWO pieces of ham (one slice enough to cover only half the bread), a small bit of lettuce, and two pieces of small tomato— one being the end piece. It was embarrassingly skimpy and not even worth 3 stars!! However, the bread was amazing! It was worth all the stars. I tried the spaghetti and meatballs. Nothing fabulous there—average. If you are going to serve sandwiches on the best bread ever, be proud enough to DO IT BETTER. I feel that the drive I had to make for this experience was not worth the effort."

"I ordered a veggie sub last night called at about 8 was told it would take about an hour well since Subshop was closed and i had my heart set on a veggie sub from somewhere i just said ok and was fine with the wait. I went to pick my sandwhich up got there a little after 9 there was just one customer in the building other than myself. The guys at the counter may have just been busy and ready to end the night but the guy taking my card was not very friendly at all i left a tip said thank you told him to have a good night before handing him his pen back and was met with silence which made me immediately regret leaving a tip. I got home starving ready to eat and my sandwhich was just full of onions and lettuce there was no cheese at all it was pretty much the worst sub i have ever had. Literally seemed like they just chopped up several onions and green peppers up and threw them all on the bread with some lettuce and one tomato very disappointing and a waste of money. Will likely stick to pizza from this location if i ever choose to return. I just feel like the customer service could have been better in person they were nice on the phone but kind of rude when i arrived and the sandwhich was was not worth the money could have just been a bad night not sure."

"Chicken Parm! This place is on point! Don’t be misled by the low-key interior, got a chicken Parm cutlet hoagie and it was fantastic!! Perfect bread, crispy tender chicken, great sauce and cheese. And Tommy “Cutlets” DeVito and the Giants beat the Packers on MNF! Perfect night, can’t wait to have that sandwich again"

"I have ordered from here twice using eatstreet. thus far on both orders something has not been correct on the first order they forgot a pepperoni topping on one of our pizzas and on the second order they provided the wrong side of chips. Also, the amount of toppings on the pizzas are sparse. My second order was for the Philly cheese steak pizza and the steak was extremely grissely and unenjoyable. My significant other did enjoy the Alfredo and garlic sauce on the pizzas. We also ordered the gyro sandwich and it was okay a bit bear on toppings the meat was good but there was extremely spicy onions (old onions) on the sandwich. we also ordered the three cheese lasagna which was decent and I don't really have much complaints about that but I'm not sure if a 10 oz thing of lasagna is worth $11.00. especially because it doesn't come with any sides. I gave them two shots and I don't know if I'm going to try again it is quite expensive for what you get in comparison with other places including national franchises which pizza quality isn't known to be the best, but I think so genuinely enjoyed dominoes pizza over IT's (at least with the 3 pizzas we have tried this far)."
