"We bought a washer/dryer combo through 5 star appliance in November 2023. The washer went out right as the warranty expired. The drum doesn’t spin and doesn’t drain water. I have been trying to get someone to come look at it for months and someone says they’ll come and then they don’t. It’s been MONTHS. It’s a second washer and dryer for my upstairs but still…I the service I have (or haven’t?) received has been so disappointing."

"This is my second time doing business with Five Star Appliances over the past 5 years. Five years ago I purchased a Samsung set. It’s still working. The dryer is not as quiet as it used to be and the parts for the dryer are costly so I decided to get a new set before the inevitable happens. Five Star Appliance is about 50 miles from me. I called up the store. Amber told me to come look at the inventory. When I arrived, they carried brand new appliances ( stoves , too) and they carry refurbished washers and dryers. I just couldn’t decide which to pick. So Brian and Angel have me the specifications of the units and told me the history behind each of the brands they carry. And they asked questions to find out what my needs and space was like for my prospective units. I thought I wanted a color set but I chose a white set. I am so glad I did. It is practically new. Then it was time to go see Amber so we can get it purchased and delivered. I went in on a Saturday near closing time. Amber was so easy to talk to I think she is my BFF now. Lol. She liked my hat so much I just want to go buy one just like it for her she was so friendly. Annnd… to my great surprise, they delivered it the same day. I definitely was not expecting that. I was so happy. They even took my old set away ( it was over 10 years old) and gave me a huge discount off my purchase. Winner. Winner. The icing on the cake is she gave me a bottle of custom laundry detergent as a thank you gift. No ma’am, I should thank you for the great service."

"Yesterday Five Star delivered a Wash/Dry set to me in Gladewater. Same day delivery, quick professional installation. The two gentlemen who came were polite and respectful. Super cautious not to hit walls and door frames. Items are working well. I had gone into their shop the day before to look around. I called back the next morning and asked them to measure the 3 sets I was interested in and give me the model number for each so I could check reviews before making my decision. They generously did all of this with patience. I would definitely recommend this company. Small businesses always offer the best customer support. I will be checking them out next time I need an appliance for sure!"
