With a medical degree from Meharry Medical College, where he was honored with membership in the Gold Humanism Society and Alpha Omega Alpha, Dr. Fabunmi brings an exceptional level of expertise and compassion to his practice.

Dr. Fabunmi's extensive training includes a clerkship at The Mayo Clinic and ophthalmology training at Case Western Reserve University, where he served veterans at the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center. He further honed his skills with a glaucoma fellowship at the prestigious Dean McGee Eye Institute, gaining comprehensive experience in both common and rare forms of glaucoma, as well as minimally invasive and complex cataract surgeries.

Born in Lagos, Nigeria, and raised in Tallahassee, FL, Dr. Fabunmi now serves communities across Tarpon Springs, Tampa, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Spring Hill, Wesley Chapel, and The Villages. He approaches patient care with a philosophy of treating each individual as family, ensuring a supportive experience from initial contact through follow-up care.

Outside of his practice, Dr. Fabunmi enjoys cooking West African dishes, playing pool, and spending quality time with his family.
