About the Business
Welcome to First United Methodist Church Atmore, a warm and inviting place of worship located at 311 South Pensacola Avenue, Atmore, Alabama. Our church is centered around three core values: Know, Love, Serve. We believe that by knowing, loving, and serving others, we can truly know, love, and serve God. We invite you to join us in this journey and become part of our community.
Our Sunday services begin with Sunday school at 9:15 a.m., followed by worship at 10:30 a.m. On Wednesdays, we gather for a church family supper at 6:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. After supper, our Quest Kids children's ministry and Crew Youth ministry offer engaging activities for young members, while those who enjoy singing can join our choir practice at 6:45 p.m.
At First United Methodist Church Atmore, we are unified under the Lordship of Jesus Christ and bound together by prayer. Our mission is to open our doors and hearts to all seeking spiritual guidance, Biblical knowledge, and the Kingdom of God. Guided by the Holy Spirit, we are dedicated to serving God through worship and sharing our faith with our time, talents, and gifts. With compassion and friendship, we provide comfort and support to our congregation and the wider community.
As we continue to grow, we cherish the value of each individual and their importance to our congregation. Embracing the need for innovative ministries, we eagerly accept the challenge to promote the growth of Christianity in our community.
