"Called several times and no one answered get there at 630 and they say sorry no live shrimp."
"Man working was very rude, did not understand how the system worked AT ALL, kept trying to get us to send more payments through and wasn’t giving the system time to process before canceling and saying it was our fault. it seemed like a very slow working till. Not impressed with behavior, telling us we were doing something wrong, when he wasn’t running his end. Eventually got it to go through cashapp when I stood and waited; while he continued to tell me to send another payment."
"We went to Salty Hook once during our stay at crystal river. They had a selection of bait but not much for tackle. To us it was more of a bait shop than tackle. The shrimp we bought helped us catch the targeted species of fish! (trout, snook, and redfish!)"
"Very disappointed, you say that you open at 6am but you then you have a sign on the door saying you are out getting shrimp. We try to support private store owners but we went out of our way to get there to find out you’re not even open. Open at 6am means open at 6am to do business"
"Stopped here on the way out to the river! We needed more bait and they had live shrimp and mud minnows!! That was a nice surprise! They are in a little strip mall right between a deli and a boat repair shop. They also had ice in the parking lot! Great place! Y’all should stop by there when you’re in Crystal River!"
