Welcome to the Cedar Key Pirate Invasion, a thrilling and immersive tourist attraction located on A Street in Cedar Key, Florida. Set sail for adventure from November 1-3, 2024, as rumors abound that pirates will once again storm the shores, transforming the town into a lively hub of swashbuckling fun—all for a good cause!
Join us at the city park, where the pirates will establish their camp and take over the town, delighting visitors with tales of life on land. Experience history brought to life by some of the finest re-enactors on the East Coast. The festivities kick off at 12:00 noon on Friday, November 1st, with Vendors Row offering an array of pirate-themed wares and clothing. Tap your feet to the lively sea shanties and mingle with the pirates as they roam the local establishments in the evening. Remember, pirates, no open containers in public!
On Saturday, November 2nd, prepare for the grand Opening Ceremonies at 10:00 am, where the town’s mayor might just "voluntarily" hand over the keys to the pirates! Witness the Blessing of The Fleet and the Clam Harvest, and don't miss the whimsical Golf Cart Parade—decorate your cart or join the procession with your crew!
For the young buccaneers, there’s a costume contest, a chance to meet a Mermaid, and a thrilling hunt for the most notorious pirates in town with the “Wanted Poster” scavenger hunt.
Throughout Saturday and Sunday afternoons, feel the thunder of cannons and the power of black powder weapons during demonstrations by the notorious Pirates of the Loose Cannon Company.

"Had an AMAZING time! Hung out with the pirates and gypsy's ! Fire preformers and fireworks- live music and booths- Captain Jack Sparrow look alikes and even parrots! Mermaids too! The view was awesome and it was full of wonderful people and good food- very amazing place and all around had a good time! The kids had a blast treasure hunting and the adults even had a costume contest- definitely going back next year! 10/10!"
