"Purchased a property on the water and had the unpredictable and unfortunate problem of a seawall giving up due to age and hydrostatic pressure. No new home owner is a seawall expert and is prepared for such a financial burden. While being denied multiple times claiming insurance we were forced to do this on our own. Called over 20 seawall companies and got quotes. It came down to only 2 companies but the other one was backed up with 2 years of work. Everyday we just stood by our seawall and saw the soil of the land go straight into the sea. With so much anxiety we decided to just go with Mattix. Mattix will give you everything straight foward, they don’t really do things outside of their element, technically what has been working for them the last 50 years, they have been in Hudson since Hudson was built. We got a concrete seawall with a 6ft walkway. I will say we were skeptical at first but ended being a customer impressed. Todd and his team will not over promise , they are a no nonsense company, they just do things 1 way and one can really only understand once work is done.
