"It’s a beach, nothing special or stands out from other beaches in the area. Except $10 for parking. And then THE WALK. I am all for going on walks or hikes even while carrying beach chairs and umbrellas if need be, but this walk was hellish. Absolutely no shade, we had no breeze and it was like walking through the desert. We were “rewarded” at the end of the long trek with an average beach. (Don’t get me wrong, average beach for this area are still nice.) But there are BETTER PUBLIC BEACH options. We found on Marco Island that the South Beach Access was best. Pay to park, cross one crosswalk. Walk down a beautiful tree lined walkway to a little boardwalk and you are right there to a gorgeous beach. SO many shells and a beautiful place to spend time."

"I would rather rate it 1 star for selfish reasons - it's absolutely a jewel of the southwest, and I would like it to remain in the same condition. Now about the place - it's amazing. Fine sand, plenty of space, no crowds, and shallow coast line. Perfect for day trip with kids. The only advice, don't be like me - bring beach trolly - the "tail" part is quite a walk. Also, there is only one shower, so plan accordingly."

"Long walk to the water if the tide pool is high but it is a beautiful beach with a large variety of shells."

"Beautiful and Peaceful place. I love ❤ the white sand and the feeling just looking at the nature : shells - please do not take live shells is against the Law-, little fishes and birds. Depends on the tide, you can walk true the pond and get to the shore. Mud ? Yes, but is worth it!!"
