"We purchased a home and we totally regret it!!! Horrible customer service (owner and all office personnel are very rude and confrontational) they always make excuses for warranty work...u always have to go to higher management (which are liars) to get things aomewhat done. HOA is a total scam paying $1200 for nothing, oh wait... a gate that is open the majority if the time!! Becuz none of the amenities promised (golf, clubhouse, pool) are happening in our Carrington community (some people have been waiting for years.. It clear that Thomas Homes is pocketing the money, cuz homeowners are not getting any financials! And Supposably none of the management have emails!!! Unbelievable at this day in age.... Honestly Do urself a favor and search for another builder!! These people are running a very unethical business!!"

"Our HOA is $1200 a year for Carrington neighborhood. We were told there would be amenities, but have yet to have any progress of this, years later. Many of us have requested financial statements from the HOA and have yet to receive them. We love our house, but make sure you get things in writing if you’re being sold on amenities like the rest of us."

"So manufacturer recommendations for my siding is 2 staggered nails every 3-4ft. They had 2 nails (total) on a 9-10 ft strip of siding. Not even on each end. Me and 8 other neighbors all had similar damage from a basic storm. After living in a house that went through countless hurricanes with 0 damage and now, this house is falling apart with a basic storm, speaks volumes for their build quality. Considering the new 1 stories have at least 8 nails on them with a strip half the size also speaks volumes. Maybe they just dropped the ball with us, idk. But the repair guys said it was all screwed up. Hmmmm. On top of that giant chunks of dry wall have fallen off inside. I've had to learn to drywall and repair this all myself...causing me to realize just how bad even the drywall people failed. $380k house that has the build quality of a $75k trailer. They also, ILLEGALLY, NEVER provided builders covenants and went behind everyone's backs and started an hoa."

"Moved into a Thomas community a year ago. It was the WORSE DECISION EVER. There is no plan, no transparency of where HOA dues are spent, and zero response when trying to get any information."

"Safety does not appear to be a priority for Thomas Homes. Despite reaching out to the company numerous times, the tree situated in the common area behind my home continues to pose a threat to my neighbors and me. I have been attempting to address this issue for nearly two years now. Professionals have confirmed that the tree is at risk of falling due to root girdling and loose, exposed roots. I will continue to provide updates on whether this issue is resolved."
