"They bring the boat on a trailer to a ramp near you and have really cool captains with knowledge of fun spots! Lake Boca is definitely a MUST"

"This beach is 1 hr and 30mins from Lakeland. I would take this drive any time just to go to this beach. Coquina has beautiful clear waters, bring your hammocks because it has palm trees where you can set yourself up. They also have grills, so bring charcoal if you wish to cook there. If not, no worries, they have Coquina Beach Café, but they close at 4. Another thing they have are these little huts that are actually changing stations. And the best part is that PARKING IS FREEEEE. Parking lot is big but fills up fast so I suggest you come early."

"This is one of our new favorite beaches! We went in the morning. It wasn't super busy. We got a great spot right next to the bathroom. It made it easier for our 4-year-old. The water is really clear and the beach was nice. Loved the sand bar. We were able to go out further, and it wasn't too rough. Plus, the weather was nice and not too hot like it usually is."

"My favorite place to go to the beach. Bathrooms, shower off station, Cafe/snack shack, long walking beach, life guards at some of the stations, grills and picnic areas. Great sun sets."

"I love everything about Coquina. Good parking, clean and abundant changing and bathroom facilities. The life guard stations are well manned. The beach is kept clean, and saw workers frequently picking up trash and such. The beach itself is gorgeous, as most beaches in the area are. In my experience most people are respectful of others."
