"Beautiful views of the Gulf. Nice place to hike, ride a bike, or just take a walk. Plenty of picnic areas, nice bathrooms paved paths and more. The road out is unimproved but seems to be well maintained. In the summer months bring some bug spray. You can see big bend power plant in the distance but not that distracting really. Sunsets are beautiful."

"It's one end of "The Canal" bike trail. 5 miles from a large parking lot. Level by New England standards. Pretty bike ride. Fair amount of "No See Ems" at the Overlook unless the wind is blowing (or you are standing next to someone the bugs prefer). Definitely worth the pedal."
