Avis Car Rental

"This is the worst place I’ve had a car renting experience at. They overcharge and under deliver and Amanda at the front desk is a pathetic excuse of an employee that does not verify if a car is clean, full of gas, or where it’s located on the lot. The only helpful employee at this location is the blonde male, I don’t know his name but he was very willing to assist with any questions or issues. I was also charged an extra day at the end of my rental for returning past 2pm when my deadline was 4pm, when I arrived the front desk decided to change the rules. The customer service phone number doesn’t call the rental location, instead you’re talking to a robot and then overseas employees. The cars are in terrible condition and are renting extremely dirty inside and out. I am very dissatisfied and disappointed to have wasted my money on this service. I will be choosing to rent from other rental agencies moving forward even if the price is higher and I recommend anyone else who values a clean car and friendly customer service to do the same."

"I didnt spend much time here sonce I rented in Miami and dropoed off here. However the young lady was awesome. I had to run out to get the mileage and as i exited a couple come in with 600 uestions for her. I figured I would need to wait a while when i came back in with the data....but she didnt forget me. He prompted me to interject so she could finish up woth me.Otherwise I would have waited until the couple had run out of thibgs to discuss. Why are credit card authorizatiins or debit card holds so dificult to comprehend? Neither actually take any money and send it to thr company.but they both lock up the amount and gty the company can take it in the event something hapoens and they need to. It will take away from your avalible credit or avalible cash balance for days (or even up to 7-10 days). When you retirn the vehicle without damage they will push a final charger of $0.00...... Within 1-2 biz days youll have the avalinle credit or actual avalible cash free once again."

"This location would not let me use a debit card to rent a car. I was able to book and pay with it and then they wouldn’t let me rent a car without unfreezing my credit and wouldn’t accept a debit card. Corporate says this location doesn’t accept debit cards. Whattttt?! How do you not take a Visa?!"

"Made a reservation to pick up a Van 3 weeks in advance. Reservation was not ready at noon. Had to come back hours later to pick up rental vehicle. Halfway through the trip realized both front tires We're as bald as Mr. Clean. Had to stop and trade out For another Rental vehicle."

"This might be the worst car rental place I've been to. Ordered a midsized truck. Got a full size truck with damage, dirt, broken glass all over the bed, severe smoke smell, and a bad leaking tire. Hours are ridiculous, and nobody will answer a phone. Do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else."
