Budget Car Rental

"Second time I picked up car at this location with low tire air pressure. This time I added air several times. Tire was non repairable, had to be replaced. Cruise control didn't work. Change oil light on most of the trip on both rentals. Car had not been washed. When I spoke to owner, he was not concerned about the bad tire which could have blown while I was on the interstate or any time. He told me to call him next time I rented and he would make sure his staff paid special attention to my rental. I told him I would not rent from him again. His reply was "if that's the way you want to be." All vehicles should be given "special" attention. All customers should be given the same courtesy."

"There are two parts in this review. First off, please realize they are in a very popular destination and they don't give a hoot about what you or I think. The good news: I made a reservation online. They gave me a car and I drove to my destination. Overall, this part went smoothly. The bad news: Employee attitude was "snooty" and questionable at best. The tires were inflated well beyond the stated maximum on the tires. In the Florida heat, this can be dangerous. The contract stated the car had 3k miles on it, when the odometer was reading 6600. They simply don't care or are incapable of doing things properly. This "We're doing you a favor" attitude has got to stop because everything is going downhill."

"Zero stars. The absolute worst experience I’ve ever had with a rental car company and quite possibly any business in general. Over a 2 hour wait to get a car with no warning. Gave me the wrong car and the one they gave me has a flat tire bc no one checked it bc they were so busy. Almost killed myself on the high way. Brought it back right after my event and exchanged it. Brought the other car back a day early and they claim I took the rental car key. I left it in the cup holder as directed by the employee. Why would anyone take a rental key? It was clearly there as it would not have gotten back to the lot with out it. Charged me over $400 for a missing key, and then would only do less than half back when I explained it is impossible. The workers there do not care about anything. They don’t check the car before you take it and then claim you return it and steal the key. Absolutely the worst business ever. DO NOT RENT FROM BUDGET. They are on a budget so they make up things to charge you extra."

"If I could put a negative star I would. I reserved a car online Tuesday for pickup Thursday morning. I received a call at 3:58 on Wednesday telling me that they don't have any cars available tomorrow at 8am but may have one at 11. The reason I reserved it for 8am was because I have to be on the road by 9. They took the funds out of my account and now say it will take 3-5 business days to refund my money. I absolutely would not recommend Budget ever. Way to take care of a customer whos job will require travel and will be renting monthly!"

"This is my Go To car rental spot. Omar is amazing. He’s always so accommodating and helpful in every aspect of the rental process. He even called me to let me he would be a little late for a pick up. I prefer to go to this place above any other car rental agency. Chefs kiss*"
