"We arrived by boat and had some drinks and grouper bites. Great food and drinks. My only complaint was the music being played at the bar. I would prefer to hear music that makes me feel like I’m on vacation. Reggae music would be perfect. Not the Jackson 5, Phil Collins. The bartender says he was not able to change it. I will be back again! Great improvement."

"Our first visit to the new Skybar inside the SkyBeach Hotel. The resort-style hotel features a nice beach area, pools, and docks. The bar itself is an elevated tiki bar with excellent bartenders. The docks are available on a first-come, first-served basis, with plenty of space. They also offer several mooring balls for larger vessels. I spoke with a guest who mentioned that the rooms were just okay, so I’ll leave that open to interpretation. My only concern was the pricing. My wife had a couple of house wines, and I had two modestly priced tequilas on the rocks with a splash of water, and our bill came to $67.00. We didn’t eat there, but the food menu also seemed quite expensive. They only have a food truck servicing the bar. It seems they are trying to match the prices of high-end Gulf Beach resorts. The staff mentioned that for $50.00, you can get access to the beach and pools along with a $40.00 drink credit. We will most likely give it another try."

"Formerly the Magnusson, this newly opened hotel outdoor bar has a fun vibe, cool bay view, live music (hard to see from the upstairs bar but still sounds great!) and is a major upgrade. The food menu is a bit limited since the full restaurant hasn’t opened yet but what they do have is tasty. We liked the mini corndogs and hot wings (heat warning on triple XXX - they aren’t understating it.) It was a bit pricey, but what do you expect at a hotel on the water? The bar stools aren’t comfy but otherwise we had a great Friday night watching the moonrise over the bay."

"Finally somebody brought Miami to me, right in my own backyard. I'll be here every weekend. If I don't answer my phone, it's because I'm lounging on the sand, or perhaps playing volleyball on the Sandy courts overlooking the water, or pickleball next to the volleyball. Maybe I've jumped in one of the two pools, huge and inviting, also overlooking the water. The Waterfront Beach goes for about three football fields. Skybar is two stories and very chic. Arrived by boats and dock add hanging for the day. Live music is Pleasant imperfect for the atmosphere. There is a fire pit to lounge and also shuffleboard, which will never go out of style. The furniture is very Coastal and stylish. Bring your friends, bring your family, bring your co-workers or bring a mate. So many different settings, the social aspect flows. Finally Skybar here ~"

"Fantastic spot to check out. Place is beautiful. Cocktails are great, they a nice mix of usual suspects mixed with local breweries and distillery offerings. Bar staff is fun and engaging. Really enjoyed the music there that sets the right type of beach vibe. They have two stages for live music, one by their beach and one by their larger pool area. That is set to get going Memorial Day weekend. Can’t wait!"
