About the Business

Zion Episcopal Church

Welcome to Zion Episcopal Church in Morris, NY! Nestled in the picturesque Butternut Valley, our historic stone church at 158 East Main Street has been a beacon of faith and community since 1793. As an Episcopal Parish within the Diocese of Albany and part of the worldwide Anglican Communion, we are dedicated to providing a welcoming ministry of love and concern for simply everyone.

Whether you are a longtime resident, a newcomer, or just visiting, we invite you to join us in worship and fellowship. At Zion, we embrace all individuals, regardless of their familiarity with Episcopal worship or the Christian faith, and encourage everyone to grow with us in faith, peace, and love.

As we transition following the retirement of our Deacon/Vicar Gary, we are actively searching for a new pastor to lead our congregation. For more information on this process, please visit our Rector Search webpage.

Our weekend service times currently vary between Saturday evening and Sunday morning during this transition period. We encourage you to check our Worship Services page for the latest schedule of upcoming services.

Come and experience the warmth and hospitality of Zion Episcopal Church, where our doors are always open, and our hearts are ready to welcome you.

"Very kind environment. I want to thank the parishioners for helping myself and my children come in from the cold for a few mins to warm up and a special thank you to the wife who held up my hood while I played under it frying so hard to get the car running again. Your help was so much appreciated and I am honored to have met you guys. Thank you so very much! "
