Located at 87 Little York Road, Gouverneur, New York, Fowler Town Hall serves as the hub of local government activity for the vibrant and historic Town of Fowler. Established in 1816 and named after Theodosius Fowler, a notable landowner and American Revolution Captain, our town is steeped in rich history and natural beauty.

Nestled in the southwestern part of St. Lawrence County, Fowler is bordered by the towns of Rossie, Gouverneur, Hermon, Edwards, Pitcairn, and Antwerp. The picturesque Oswegatchie River flows through our town, offering scenic portages that enhance the area's natural charm. Fowler is also home to the Gouverneur Country Club and the serene Sylvia Lake community, making it an attractive place for both residents and visitors.

Fowler Town Hall is committed to serving its community with dedication and transparency. We offer a convenient Dropbox at the back door, checked twice daily for your submissions. Our Town Assessor's Office is open every Tuesday from 9 AM to 1 PM, with appointments available six days a week to accommodate your schedule. In response to recent events, homeowners in St. Lawrence County can apply for grants of up to $50,000 to repair damage from Hurricane Debby. These funds are aimed at addressing health and safety-related repairs not covered by insurance, ensuring that our community remains resilient and strong.
