AAA Laundromat

"The staff take up almost all the washers and dryers. At times its about 5+ employees washing and dryer. As a self service customer, they told me to use the bottom dryers, in the back. Really disappointing. A bit overpriced too."

"This laundromat is clean with plenty of machines. The prices are a bit high. For example the dryers are $0.25 for 6 minutes. I would have given four stars but they have very few laundry carts available. The majority of them are constantly filled."

"6 MINUTE DRYERS AND NO HOT WATER WASH EVEN THOUGH I SELECTED OPTION FOR IT. I opted for a hot wash with heavy soil/pre wash and extra rinse cycle. EVEN THOUGH I SELECTED A HOT WASH, WHAT I RECEIVED WAS AN ICE COLD WASH. My pre wash cycle was cold. I was not happy but I know many places will do a cold pre wash, but when the MAIN WASH came on, I stuck my finger into the flow of water and it was ice cold. I then felt a bit later on, the glass on the face of the machine to see if it had gotten a bit warmer, but it was still cold. I asked the woman working there about the lack of hot water and she told me "YES, hot water in main wash" My machine was in the main wash cycle but it was still cold. I then took the liberty of feeling the glass of one of the other machines that was running and it was also cold. Strike 1. So after having to accept that I just paid for a sub par wash of my sheets towels and underwear - which absolutely require hot water- I load my clothes into two dryers and drop in my quarters to found out that my quarter only buys me 6 minutes. Most places will give you 8 minutes. Strike 2. Another note: Place is run down looking and a bit dirty. (Floor looked like it had not been swept and tops of some of the machine were dirty too) Strike 3. The hunt for a good laundry mat in Astoria, continues."

"They will steal your things. Do not trust this space. They leave your clothes everywhere all over the place, anyone could swipe something and leave. First they discriminated against me for being deaf. No matter how many times I said”I can’t hair plesse write it down” - they would keep talking. I have this all on video. They claim to have mistakenly given it to another customer. They were not only rude but unapologetic & disrespectful. Somehow they stole the nice towels, but the bad ones still made their way home. I wonder what else of mine has"

"User Friendly Laundry facility, they offer self service or drop your laundry for the staff to do your washing and pick up. Notes change machine is available inside, which is very helpful. For only $5 + laundry soap, your washing is complete. They have machines from small to large washing load, and plenty of them so you might not need to wait at all for your turn. Recommended."
