"These people were sent to my home by Suffolk County Water Authority to install a pressure reduction water valve. They installed aforementioned valve. However they also removed a brace that connected my house and sprinkler system feeds to foundation wall. After install was complete, the whole structure, ( house, sprinkler system, pressure reduction valve, and water filtration system feeds) shook with the slightest touch, like an obese person’s derrière. Added an extension to the brace and reconnected it to wall which made entire job rigid again. Would not use this outfit to do plumbing work in my home. When I pointed out this experience to the mechanic in charge of work at my home, since they are working at several houses on my street, he just schrugged his shoulders. Thanks for the inconvenience and annoyance to this company and SCWA."

"My hat goes off and much thanks to Allen Gross plumbing in Sayville. Dale and his associate just finished installing a new water heater at my condo and they did an excellent job. My water heater broke down on Thursday and he got back to me Friday morning. He explained some of my options over the phone. He scheduled an inspection and estimate for Saturday morning. He was extremely knowledgeable and explained to me what my choices for replacement were and what would be needed. He was good enough to say he would fit my work in on Monday. Later on Saturday, he called and stated he could do the work today. He and his associate were competent professional working partners. The job was neat and expertly completed.
