"My husband and I recently purchased a central air unit from this company (June 2024). They failed to clean the gutters that was clogged from the previous unit after saying that they would. They also promised a rebate from PSEG of "up to $2300.00". BUYER BE AWARE: K2 HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING is NOT on the VENDORS LIST WITH PSEG TO RECEIVE THE FULL REBATE - understand that once the purchase is made you will only receive $500.00 back from PSEG. It is false advertising. We have attempted to contact the office several times and keep being sent to voicemail. The customer service was "excellent" when they were in the process of taking our money now we cannot get a direct response from any office staff or managers."

"Called to setup an appointment to have an evaluation and estimate on converting to central AC. Appointment was 2-4PM. At 4:10 PM, I called them and they weren't able to confirm the appointment but said they'd call me back. At 4:30 no call back but technician arrived with wrong information - said that I requested a repair on a leak. He was friendly but unable to help since evals and estimates were not his job. They offered to set up an appointment on another day. No thanks. There's tons of other options in the area and I already have appointments for quotes from 2 other competitors. Everybody was friendly and apologetic, but I'm not comfortable having potentially over $10k of work from a company that can't keep it's appointments or communicate well."

In the 3 years since, technician Matt has come to the house every May to complete the annual maintenance on the unit. He is very knowledgable, explains what has to be done now, and what can wait for next year. I highly recommend this company if you are looking to install a cooling system for your home."
