"Excellent experience! We considered several installer companies and ultimately went with Gen Ready because they were the cheapest and envisioned the least disruptive method for wiring it up, which at first actually made us a little nervous ("is a whole-house generator install really a place you want to cut corners?"), but it turned out they weren't cutting corners at all; they just weren't finding ways to pad the invoice like other companies were. Throughout the process not only did they do a professional, top-of-the-line install but they actually found other ways to save us money along the way. Since the time of the install (around last August), we've lost grid power 3 times, and every time the generator has immediately kicked on, powered the house without issue, and returned to standby as soon as grid returned. Fully satisfied customers and thrilled we made the right choice!"

"I just had a phone conversation with this company and found the person providing the rough estimate to be rude and insulting. . When I informed her that her instal price of over 10k was almost double other quotes I have received, she insulted me by saying she was sorry that I couldn’t afford it. The fact is that nobody should pay an unfair price. I went through Costco so I will also be informing them of the vendors they do business with. Do your homework. In today’s economy nobody should be overcharged."
