About the Business

Welcome to the Brentwood Fire Department Engine 4, proudly serving the Bay Shore community from our station located at 1099 Martinstein Avenue, Bay Shore, New York 11706. As a dedicated fire station, we are committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents through rapid response and effective firefighting operations.

We are a volunteer-based department, offering opportunities for those interested in serving their community as volunteer firefighters. Join our team and become part of a legacy of bravery and service. We are also grateful for the generous support from our community and welcome donations to help us continue our mission.

Our department is led by experienced professionals, including our newly sworn-in Fire Commissioner, Rasheed “Roc” Williams. Under the leadership of First Assistant Chief Ed Kelly, we have successfully managed challenging incidents, such as the structure fire on March 29th at 45 Connecticut Ave, where conditions were intensified by severe hoarder circumstances.

We honor the memory and service of our esteemed Ex-Chiefs and Past Commissioners, William Feeley and George Leggio, who have both answered their last alarms. George Leggio notably served as Chief from 1965 to 1967 and as a Fire Commissioner. Their contributions and dedication to the Brentwood Fire Department will always be remembered.

Join us in the community spirit at our 26th Annual Golf Outing, an event that brings together residents and supporters for a day of fun and camaraderie.

For more information, volunteer opportunities, or to make a donation, please visit our website or contact us directly. Your support helps us remain a vital part of the Bay Shore community.
