Located at 2839 New York 112, Medford, New York, Axis Church stands as a vibrant place of worship and community service, deeply rooted in the message that "Everything we do revolves around Jesus." Originally founded in 1961 as Medford Assembly of God, our church has been a beacon of hope and faith for over six decades. In 1997, when faced with dwindling numbers, Axis Church experienced a revival that not only reinvigorated our congregation but also extended our influence throughout the community.
Our mission is compassion-driven, focusing on outreach and service to those in need. We are dedicated to supporting the homeless, children with special needs, the foster care system, and soldiers with PTSD, among other initiatives. Our commitment to revitalizing churches has led us to restore six congregations, breathing new life into communities across Long Island.
At Axis Church, family-friendly values and a welcoming atmosphere ensure that everyone feels at home. We believe that everyone has a place and purpose within our ministry, whether it’s greeting guests at our doors or participating in community outreach programs. Inspired by Romans 12:1-2, we strive to be living sacrifices, dedicated to serving the Lord in every aspect of our lives.
