"I've never seen snapper turtles in my entire life of the size and frequency that I have encountered here at this particular pond. This one snapper turtles was at least three feet long, and it had more then a handful of hooks from fisherman's lines in its mouth, showing that it had grabbed a piece of bait on a fishing line countless times. It was also highly aggressive and scared me as a child. Great memories here though"

"Very pretty pond, located on the Green Trail, Also known as the Spring Pond Loop Trail. This is a short, about 3/4 mile trail thru one section of Blue Heron Park. Good for bird watching"
