"Can never get anyone on the phone to determine if garbage can be dropped off. Many items are no longer collected. It’s important to be able to discard items, so that people do not dump. However, you can pack your car up, drive down there when they are supposed to be open, only to find out that they are closed. Very poorly run government agency, individual sanitation collectors often do a good job."

"I would give this worker in the pic on truck 25DY-274 / S.I. 3 plate # BD8903 a negative 10 if it was possible. Our garbage can was not collected. It was half full. They collected our neighbors’ that were completely full and/or had large pieces of furniture. Waited for them to come back down to collect across the street and were told by this worker that he’s “not going to do it” and “if (we) wanted it collected (we) could throw it into the truck ourselves” and “next time make sure you gift wrap it”. Like seriously? Is it because we are an Asian-American household and not YT? This is unacceptable and unprofessional. How are you hiring people who goldbrick and refuse to do their jobs properly & then talk to homeowners and taxpayers like this?? I normally don’t complain but when it comes to stuff like this, it seems wrong to not complain. -10 rating until someone actually handles this issue."
"I have put in multiple complaints regarding no pick-up and the complaints get closed out by falsely saying there is nothing there. The best part is there is no way to follow-up on the reports getting falsely closed out. I have called 311, 411 and the number for the sanitation Dept closest to my house. Amazing how there is no culpability and garbage can sit outside my house for a week to 2 weeks."
"I would give zero stars if I could. Our sanitation men refuse to do the job they get paid to do, repeatedly. Trash is frequently left in front of my house, even though it is put out according to their guidelines."
