"This USPS is notorious in the neighborhood for treating everyone incredibly rudely. Their self-drop off bin for packages is always closed up and there is nowhere else that clearly states is a drop-off bin, but when you bring your pre-labeled package to the window, they stare at you like you’re an idiot and just take your package without saying a word to you, as though you’re not worth their time. I once also walked in with my dog, and the woman told me no dogs allowed. I tried to say “sorry, is there a self-drop off bin I could use?” Except each time I uttered two words she would cut me off and go “NO. DOGS. ALLOWED.” They also recently changed their sign from “only service animals allowed” to “only blind-assisting dogs allowed” which is discriminatory. Since this is a federal establishment, no amount of complaints will create a change to the service here. Luckily the UPS around the corner can accept pre-labeled USPS packages, and they’re always very nice and helpful. So just make the USPS staff happy and save yourself from being guaranteed getting treated like trash, and never go to this location."

"Seriously, one of the best post offices in the city. staff has no ego and it’s super helpful and kind. I have come here many times and each time the experience is wonderful."

"Came in and got yelled at three times at by one woman and laughed at by the other for not knowing where to put my package and they didn’t even seem to want to help even though there was only one other customer there. She called me disrespectful for standing too close to that one other customer even though I was at least 6 feet away while the other one just kept laughing at my “mistakes.” I just kept apologizing even though I knew I did nothing wrong I just didn’t know what to do since I hadn’t dropped a package off there before. Unhelpful, incredibly rude, and condescending for absolutely no reason. I truly felt like I was being treated like the scum of the earth as soon as I walked in that door. Do NOT come here they will make you feel like you’re dumb for just not knowing what to do, and there’s multiple other post offices within a ten minute walk from here. I’ve never been treated so badly at a post office, let alone any public establishment, just for walking in."

"This USPS location is by far the best post office I’ve been to in lower Manhattan. The staff is courteous and helpful and there’s usually not a long line unlike a lot of other locations. I’ve always had a great experience here."

"Never been turned away at 5:56 when somewhere closes at 6. The lady would not let me drop a package. I tried asking if I could drop it and she said no so I went to UPS. When I’m walking back I see the same lady that yelled at me helping someone at 6:02. So incredibly rude."
