"Small park, north of Battery Park, of which it ultimately represents an offshoot. Note the Upper Room, a particular sculpture facing the river: it is a sort of colonnaded courtyard, very oriental."

"This was a nice quiet spot. I had to pass gas early in the morning and it was quiet enough to sit and fart on the bench without disturbing the public. Would come again."

"This is just a small sitting area at the end of Albany St, but it includes a fanciful collection of imaginative columns. Some with pediments. Some not. They are all covered with brownish-red tiles. The center-most column has a pretty tile mosaic. Great view of The Hudson River and Jersey City skyline, which is growing by the minute. This spot also borders on the lovely Battery Park City Esplanade, which is well worth a visit."
