"There are several interesting things to see at Liberty Park - mostly the sculpture “The Sphere,” which was heavily damaged on 9-11 when the twin towers fell on top of it. It’s also open at night and we came by here the first night we were in New York just to sit and talk."

"Beautifully hidden park. Great spot to sit and relax and to overlook the area. Great statue dedications in the park as well."

"Walk up or take the ramp ♿️ and find a tree lined space to sit or stroll through. Fabulous sights include the Freedom Tower and an Orthodox Church. There is also the remnants of Koenig Sphere, which sat between the two towers. With access to the walkway over West Street."

"This place was so moving. Over 20 years since this tragic moment in history ... and you can still feel the pain. It's a quiet yet bustling atmosphere. The 911 memorial booth there is very nice and the grounds are as serene as it can be. I spoke to one of the security guards there, thanking him and asking him about about potential threats they come across. To see security, police and military on the grounds made us feel really safe. This will be an annual trip for us. We bought this memorial back home with us, We shall never forget ❤️"
