Now I have to pay my loan in person, at a branch, with a paper check. It’s 2024!!! Don’t bother with credit unions, just go to Chase."

"Extremely sloppy customer service. A man assisted me over the phone in applying for an auto loan. He ran my credit, and the next day I called for an update as I hadn't heard back on the status-- they let me know over the phone that they do NOT offer auto loans above $20k for first-time car buyers. I explained that this would have been helpful to know BEFORE they ran my credit, for a loan above $20k. I am fuming, as this will obviously negatively affect my credit score, and therefore impact my payments when I have to reapply with an actually capable bank. Absolutely ridiculous."
"Very poor customer service, especially from the assistant manager who had no one at her desk when we arrived. The other desk representative had a client. She scheduled an appointment for us two hours later. When we arrived for the appointment, there were six people waiting to be seen by a desk representative with not one in sight. The one window teller was the only person working. We waited five minutes and left. We will be opening an account elsewhere."
"Banked here for 12 years, no more. A super smug manager proceeded to tell me it's not the obligation of TFCU to notify customers of new rule capping transactions at $2500. Her claim was that she was protecting me by not letting me take my funds out, then proceeded to say I could write a check for any amount with a stupid smirk. Banks are insured. Must have been her 1st day, power drunk and thick."
