"Dreadful since taking over for Astoria. Closed two convenient branches (they could afford to buy out Astoria but not to keep two branches open). Manhattan BCC is a nightmare to access and then wouldn’t cash a check for me made out to cash, saying it was a 3rd party check (a fail at Banking 101). Started closing on Saturdays while rest of state was reopening then ATM touch screen went unresponsive. Paid several ATM fees I shouldn’t have. Phone app also stopped working without explanation. Bank by phone has been downgraded. No more menu options. Will change banks at earliest convenience."
"This bank has gone down hill since Astoria , never had to wait for checks to clear from one account to another. If the funds are available in one account they should immediately be credited to the account ware it was written too . Time to start looking for another bank . 22 years at the same place . Time for change !!"

"The tellers do not call and communicate when your account is being charged for improperly using online banking. Manager snapped at me for not making eye contact. Hope this gives you a feel for how friendly and inviting the bank is."
"I don’t like banks. Every time you want to do something the bank says no. Well this bank now Sterling National, different. What is it? The people. It’s people. The manager, Andrea Garza, a friendly good listener. All the tellers bright, happy and helpful. I actually forgot I was in a bank."
