At Connetquot Public Library, our mission is to provide a space where you can read, grow, learn, work, make, and connect. Our extensive collection includes books, eBooks, and multimedia resources, all accessible through our user-friendly catalog.

Our library is proud to offer free admission passes to some of New York's most popular museums and venues. Additionally, members can purchase discounted tickets to local attractions like the Bronx Zoo and Long Island Aquarium. We are also an authorized passport acceptance facility, ready to assist you with your application needs.

Join us and enjoy a range of services, including color printing, photocopying, scanning, and faxing. You can even submit print jobs from home! Our Learning Commons Makerspace invites creative minds to explore cutting-edge technology like 3D printing, laser engraving, and more.

Connetquot Public Library is dedicated to serving all ages, with specialized resources for adults, children, and teens. Our south wing caters to adults with a variety of materials, classes, and events, while the north side is a haven for children and their families. Teens can engage in gaming experiences, including VR and PC gaming, or participate in community service opportunities.

Enhance your skills with our eClasses and online learning platforms, available 24/7. Explore over 500 online continuing education courses, practice for DMV tests, or prepare for standardized exams like the SAT and GRE. Our library also offers on-demand tutoring and job assistance services to guide you through every stage of your career.

Visit us Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 9 PM, Saturday from 9 AM to 5 PM, and Sunday from 1 PM to 5 PM (September through May). Membership is free for residents and property taxpayers in the Connetquot Central School District. Apply today and become part of our thriving community!

"I am all for including the mentally handicapped into the library community but this library does not take the necessary steps to control the many groups that come here daily. Approximately 4 groups of 6-8 people come in each day and are supposed to be supervised by two chaperones. The chaperones sit on their phones the entire time. Most of their clients sit and flip through magazines or get setup on a computer. Unfortunately, a lot of them drool. The magazines are put back on the shelves without being wiped down. Same with the puzzles. Keyboards are not wiped down during the day. If you have children, please don't use the puzzles or magazines and wipe the keyboards down if using."

"Maybe I just misread their website. I didn’t realize discounted museum and aquarium passes were first come first serve. Drove all the way here with a baby for there to be no tickets. Excuse was kids were out of school last week so they sold a lot. If you knew they were out why not order more in preparation?"

"Absolutely the best! The classes are excellent. The librarians are helpful and friendly. I spend way too much time there! There are craft classes, exercise classes, game nights and lots more. I actually had a class today using Washi tape to make a Valentine's Day project."
