"Hello I've been a long time resident on the Upper West Side 45 years I had some Great Memories from snow sledding down dead man hill on 108 St going to 96 st to eat crab apples of the tree in the Summer time me and my friends rode our bikes down to the construction site from on 59 St. from 96st sometimes we would risk it and head into the Rail road tunnels and come out at the exit by I can't remember why I called it Trump world by Freedom Plaza ( I guess his name were on the constructions That's how we found the mole people remember them ? Living in the abandoned dark railroad tunnel the we Rode this path so much year after year that we created a small trail and inspired the younger generation to continue using this narrow path by the water several years later while over seas studying I was informed by a friend that a official bike path is underway when I returned it was there beautiful and every year it got prettier and prettier with new places places being constructed. Yesterday I learned that pev (personal electric vehicles) are ban from using the bike path that means electric scooter one wheel and Electric Bikes that sound very pre-covid 19 thinking so I spoke ECS (East Coast Scooters) President because they are the leading authority on Personal Electric Vehicles and they really all about safety safety safety and respect, great guys that I ride with but no one had a meeting with him or someone designated by ECS. I believe we can come to a agreement because I know that when I ride at night through the Park community feels safer and plus we can assist in educating new riders proper safety techniques and respect for pedestrian and bikes alike can do Fund Raising for the park basically I don't know if Dan still the President of the Riverside Park Fund but I would love to speak with someone to help solve this issue other than that Great Job improving and expanding the Park."

"This is a great park with a lot of offerings that many people in NYC may not know about. There's an olympic size pool, ice/roller rink, a great views to name a few things, and I always have a great time when I come here. The pool's locker rooms are large and well maintained, and the ice skating rink is fun and rarely ever crowded. There's also some basketball courts and a rec center."

"Hidden NYC gem. Mentioning this park may elicit a "huh?" from New Yorkers unfamiliar with the area, but this is a spot not to be missed. There is Olympic-sized pool, basketball courts, ice/roller rink, recreational center, and more. Head uptown for an escape from the city and enjoy the views of the Hudson. If you've been looking for a place to go skating sans tourists, this is it."
