"They were nice at first. I was 17 years old and staying in a shelter near by when I found out about this church and I never went inside one before for anything. I was greeted and I felt welcomed. I went one Sunday to pray and I had a healthy lunch too. when I got into a housing program I was of course excited and I wanted to share my good news with whoever was there! I was disrespected and told that whatever I was talking about was not important and I was ordered to leave as soon as I stepped through the doors. I was happy about my housing but being told that it wasn't something they cared about hurt. They told me that it didn't help them at all and it was a waste of time. These are good people at first but as time passed I could not believe the words they were saying :( I felt terrible and it was probably just my 4th day of knowing about that church."
