Welcome to the Sid and Ruth Lapidus Health Sciences Library, a premier resource for medical professionals and students located at 550 1st Avenue, Manhattan, New York. Established in June 2016, our library is a hub for Graduate Medical Education, Obstetrics & Gynecology, and the College of Global Public Health. Sid Lapidus, a retired partner of the esteemed private equity firm Warburg Pincus, is a passionate collector of historical texts focused on American liberty. His and Ruth's philanthropic efforts have greatly benefited NYU Langone, including a significant endowment to our library. Among their notable contributions are volumes from Sid's private collection on the yellow fever epidemic.
Our library offers a comprehensive suite of software, including DNASTAR, EndNote 9, IBM SPSS Statistics 25, Microsoft Office, and many more, to facilitate cutting-edge research and learning.
