"Feel so lucky to have this lovely library in our neighborhood—the readings, art talks, movie showings, staff recommendations and the folks who work here are all wonderful!!"

"Some people here are good. But a few are terrible. I was offended by how lazy and disinterested the librarian was when I needed help."

"This was the big Village library way before anyone ever dreamed of one in the Jefferson Market Courthouse. As a teenager in the sixties, this was my go to library. It was nice and warm on the coldest January day. No wifi, no charging stations necessary in those days. Just homework and books to take out. Today, after a renovation, still the place to go. Big rooms, comfortable chairs, plugs for the devices. Wonderful staff. Downstairs on Thursdays, movies are shown in a large screening room. You can not do better in the Village for a library!"

"Actively wouldn’t just let me print out papers even though I was in a rush and told me I had to make a new card. Inconveniencing people who come to the library after years in place of the convenience you give tourists or transplants makes zero sense for something as simple as a guest pass"

"Great area and programs for toddlers. I don't love the tiny entrance with no ramp for strollers, but it's worth the hassle. My 16 month old loves it there."
