Reviews
"This library has the nicest staff. Once one of my books that was on hold was misplaced, and one of the staff, Virginia I believe, later called me and left a voicemail that it was located - I definitely haven't seen that level of service in a while in New York. I sometimes stop by to pick up a book I have on hold while out with my small dog and can tell that he is liked and welcome there. There's also an excellent selection of travel guide books for all over the world. I am sadly moving out of the neighborhood shortly and will miss this place."
"Even though this place is small is very nice I just wish they had wrestling magazines as well and the staff is okay this one lady the white lady that was a younger lady she was very nice and helpful and also they have free books as well that you can take home which is amazing I 100% recommend this place"
"Nice small library but on my visit to the adult area on the 1st floor it usually smells of body odor and weird looking people walking around or speaking to themselves."
"**Review: A Gem of a Library** I recently visited the local library, and I must say, it's a hidden gem. The first thing that caught my attention was the clean and fast internet service. Whether I was browsing for research materials or simply streaming a video, the connection was reliable and lightning-fast, making my time there incredibly productive. The staff deserves a special mention for their exceptional helpfulness. From guiding me through the library's extensive collection to assisting with technical issues, they were always approachable and eager to assist. Their knowledge and friendliness truly enhanced my library experience. The library itself is impeccably tidy, with neatly arranged shelves and a peaceful atmosphere conducive to studying and reading. It's evident that the staff takes pride in maintaining a welcoming and organized environment for visitors. What impressed me the most was the library's comprehensive collection. From classic literature to the latest bestsellers, it has almost everything one could ask for in a library. The diverse range of resources caters to various interests and research needs, making it a valuable resource for the community. Overall, my experience at this library was nothing short of excellent. With its clean environment and fast internet, helpful staff, and extensive collection, it's a haven for bibliophiles and researchers alike. I highly recommend paying a visit and exploring all that it has to offer."
"I AM always amazed how surly and unfriendly the library staff is here. I have met one youngman who appears professional and caring. My family always gives to the NYPL...I think we need to reconsider. I have been in publishing for years and a devoted bibliophile. I love books and love libraries but when you are greeted coldly and callously how does this encourage new members to the library. I think since most staff arent trained librarians who have books programmed in their DNA MAYBE MANAGEMENT NEEDS TO TRAIN STAFF IN COLLEGIALITY AND BASIC PR SKILLS."
