Welcome to Peace & Diversity Academy, a nurturing educational community located at 1180 Rev James A Polite Avenue, The Bronx, New York 10459. As a combined primary and secondary school, we are dedicated to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment where every student feels valued and inspired to learn.

Our passionate and caring teachers are committed to creating a welcoming atmosphere, emphasizing acceptance and understanding throughout our school. We proudly partner with the Anti-Defamation League to provide peer leadership training, reinforcing our commitment to anti-bullying and anti-bias initiatives. Our walls are adorned with messages of kindness and acceptance, reflecting our core values.

Despite facing challenges such as limited funding and resources, Peace & Diversity Academy strives to offer a meaningful and impactful education to our diverse student body. We serve a significant number of English language learners, special education students, and those from various challenging backgrounds, including foster care and homelessness.

Our unique Men's Initiative program provides targeted support to Black and Latino boys, encouraging personal growth and academic success. This initiative includes social and emotional discussions, reading sessions, school visits, and engaging with authors to enhance learning experiences.

While we are continuously working to improve attendance rates and expand our extracurricular offerings, we are proud of our small school community where students and teachers build strong, supportive relationships. Our special education programs, in partnership with District 75, ensure tailored support for students with diverse needs, providing smaller classes and one-on-one assistance.

Transportation to our school is convenient, with access to several train and bus lines, making it easy for students to reach us from various locations.
