"There was a big surprise when I walked over and seen all of the tennis courts and basketball courts and entertainment area etc. I’ve been living in Garfield for a while and never knew about this park. I only used to drive over and seen the tennis courts. There were lanternflie catchers over some trees which were cool. It was a relief seeing those instead of people making the decision to cut down trees."

The games are old and unmaintained, the bathrooms are very dirty, in the park there is a bridge that is in very poor condition and is dangerous for children without safety, a child could easily fall into the river because it does not have railings or adequate safety.
