Located at 10 South 2nd Avenue, Mount Vernon, New York, the Yusuf Shah Islamic Center serves as a beacon of faith and community in Westchester County. As a mosque and place of worship, our mission is to please Allah by adhering to His commands and spreading the teachings of Islam.

Our Purpose and Values

With Allah's Name, The Merciful Benefactor, The Merciful Redeemer, and with prayers and peace upon the Prophet Muhammad (SAW), we strive to enlighten the public about Islam. Our goal is to maintain a better quality of life for our community by teaching moral values, integrity, and accountability based on the Quran and the teachings of Prophet Muhammad.
