M&T Bank 2199 Seneca Street, Buffalo, NY 14210

"If I could give Zero stars, I would. I don’t have an issue with M&T as a whole, just this specific branch. I went in yesterday to withdrawal money from my savings account. The teller, refused to give me my money because she said, since I didn’t have anything specific planned with the amount I requested to withdrawal, it was suspicious. I then told her that I planned on paying some bills and she replied with that’s not a good enough reason. I do utilize online banking often and the only time I go to a teller is when I have to withdrawal a large-ish amount of money. I was only requesting to take out $3600. She also told me that it’s “weird” because I barely use my savings account and “all of a sudden you want to take out over 3K” I pulled out my phone and proceeded to show her that I have other accounts with different banks bc M&T is not the only bank that I bank with and also a safe at home. She then told me that it’s weird because “M&T is the safest place to keep your money” ..Well obviously not because you’re refusing me to access my OWN hard working money. I think the only suspicious thing going on is her actions and why she went so hard at shaming me. I will be withdrawing all of my money and taking my business elsewhere. Side note: I normally do all my banking with the branch at Clinton & Bailey. No one has ever given me an issue there. I went there afterwards and they completed my transaction with no problem. THAT bank I give my 5 stars to."
