"The station is in very good condition and can be viewed from the Hamburg Turnpike."
"This structure was the former Erie Railroad train station located at Pompton / Riverdale. Service began on this line in 1873. This structure was not the original station but one constructed a few years later in 1919. The first station burned down in 1904 after which a temporary station was constructed until the local town petitioned the railroad to construct the current building."
