"This is a gorgeous library - peaceful, plenty of natural light, a quiet place to come and read. However, it does not cater to young children, which I think is a bit of a shame. So many libraries have figured out how to cater to all inclusively. I used to come here frequently. Now that I have a 2 and 5 yo, I no longer do. There is a library staff member who aggressively hovers and gives nasty looks when the kids play with other kids. She truly makes me uncomfortable. She told the kids to stop playing. Forgive me - but if there are toys (stacking chairs, mats, blocks, etc) they must be there to be PLAYED WITH. If not, remove them! If this staff member was reassigned a different section of the library to guard, I would consider coming back. Until then, there are many more libraries in Erie county that are children-friendly. (Tonawanda, Williamsville, Clearfield, Elma, just to name a few!)"

"We love our local library and my kids and I frequent it often. They have a great picture book area perfect for toddlers with some quiet toys, and climbers that are perfect for active toddlers reading on the go lol. I can't speak much for the adult selections yet as my Littles don't allow me time to peruse myself. However it seems like they have a large selection and I have seen signage for new releases which is always exciting when you're awaiting a new book from a favorite author. We like to grab a collection of books and head over to the pond and read on a blanket for a bit with a snack. Great way to spend an afternoon!"

"The best library in Williamsville. Clean and cozy. Lots of new books and well maintained. Staffs are all friendly and kind. Small lake next to the library and garden for kids are great touch!"
